Why Should I

adopt or foster a pet?

Because you’ll save a life. Each year, 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the United States, simply because too many pets come into shelters and too few people consider adoption when looking for a pet.

Adoption Fee for Cats

$100-150

What is included

In the adoption fee for cats

We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Our adoption fee is $100 for all of our cats. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, feline leukemia and FIV tested, dewormed had flea prevention, and micro-chipped.

To apply a cat please fill out a Cat/Kitten Pre-adoption Application. This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet.

By law, Street Paws, Inc. cannot accept a stray animal. Please contact your local Animal Control. If you
own a dog/cat that you must place, you may send us a full and complete description of the pet
including its age, vet history, temperament, a digital photo, and the reason you can no longer keep the pet to info@streetpaws.org. Most of the time our rescue/foster homes are full. Rarely can we help the
occasional owner surrender. Feel free to post the animal in need on our Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/StreetPaws, view our Important Resources page, or click here for Adopt a
Pet’s Rehome Program and add your pet to their site https://rehome.adoptapet.com/list-a-pet/step-1
