Volunteer With Street Paws

Whether you have an hour a week or a few hours a month, there’s a place for you at Street Paws. Volunteers help us care for animals, support adoptions, assist with events, and keep our shelter running smoothly.

Getting Started

  • All volunteers must sign in and check in with staff when they arrive.

  • Staff will direct you to the best place to help that day.

  • Always check with staff before interacting with dogs and before allowing dogs in the yard.

  • Safety first: Only one kennel door open at a time (inside/outside).

Volunteer Roles

1) Shelter Volunteers (On-Site — 18+)

Cat Care & Enrichment

Help our cats feel safe, calm, and loved:

  • Sit with kitties and give them attention; play with them
